Safety is our top priority

At Uniting, your child’s safety and wellbeing come first. Our centres follow strict safety practices, including:

  • Secure sign-in and sign-out procedures
  • Individual allergy and medical management plans
  • Regular hazard inspections and safety audits
  • Rigorous incident reporting
  • Continuous supervision by qualified educators.

Child Safety Champions

Each centre has a dedicated Child Safety Champion, a trained educator who brings our expectations around child safety to life. Find out more from Annette Cooper, this year's Child Safeguarding Award winner.

Our child-centred approach

We recognise that children thrive when they feel connected and valued. By nurturing an environment of respect and acceptance, we empower children to believe in themselves.

Every child has a voice

Children are active citizens, we listen to them and are guided by what they have to say.

Every child belongs

We welcome every child, modelling inclusion and providing the vital gift of belonging.

Partnering with you

We actively partner with parents and caregivers and welcome your contribution to your child's learning and development.

Making a positive difference

We help families experiencing disadvantage to access quality early learning.

Reducing the costs of early learning

Our centres are approved providers for government funding and subsidies. You may be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and/or preschool fee relief, which can reduce your out-of-pocket costs for early learning.
