At Uniting, volunteer roles include:

We want everyone to have the best possible experience of Uniting, so we require the following from our volunteers:

Be ready and able to volunteer

  • Be an Australian citizen or have the right to volunteer.
  • Complete all essential training.
  • Provide us your email address (mandatory for onboarding).

Undergo background checks

  • National Police Check (mandatory for all volunteers).
  • Working With Children Check (depending on role).
  • NDIS Check (depending on role).

Attend the placement

  • Come on your designated days and arrive on time.
  • Commit to the placement for 6 months or longer.
