The centre applies any subsidy you're eligible for to your fees payable.
The centre applies fee relief from NSW Start Strong or ACT preschool funding.

The CCS assists families with the costs of approved childcare. Low-income families may be eligible for a subsidy of up to 90% of their fees.
Your entitlement to CCS, percentage and number of hours depends on:
Eligible services include long day care and outside school hours care.
For low-income families, the CCS can cover as much as 90% of a centre's fees.
From January 2026, families are entitled to 3 days' subsidised childcare from an approved service, regardless of their activity.
If you have more than one child aged 5 or under in childcare, you may receive a higher CCS for one or more children.
If you have any more CCS questions, just ask our team.
You may be eligible to claim CCS if:

Your entitlement to CCS and the number of subsidised hours you are eligible for depends on several factors including your combined family income, the age and number of children in childcare, and on your activity levels per fortnight.
To meet the activity requirements, you and your partner (if you have one) should be:
The government bases your entitlement on the least active partner’s number of recognised hours of activity a fortnight.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can get at least 36 hours of childcare subsidy per fortnight, regardless of the amount of recognised activity that their parents or caregivers do.
From January 2026 the activity requirements are changing to allow 3 days of subsidised early childhood education and care per week, regardless of the activity levels of the parents or caregivers.
The activity requirements will still apply for any additional subsidised days of care. Find out more about activity levels and subsidised hours at Services Australia.
The additional CCS (ACCS) is extra financial support to help families experiencing disadvantage with the out-of-pocket costs of childcare. To be eligible for the ACCS, you need to meet one of the following criteria:
Set up a myGov account, link it to Centrelink, and follow the prompts to make a claim.
Lodge your claim and provide us your customer reference numbers so we can set up your CCS on our side.
Confirm your child’s enrolment details through myGov. If your claim has been approved, your CCS can now begin.
Centrelink pays us your CCS. You just need to pay us the gap between our fees and your entitlements.

The Start Strong program is a NSW Government funding initiative to help all children aged 3 to 5 participate in 600 hours (2 days per week) of preschool prior to starting school.
The NSW Government pay us your Start Strong entitlement and we take this amount off your fees.
To benefit from your full entitlement, your child needs to be enrolled in preschool at least 2 days per week.
All our centres have a preschool program for children aged 3-5 years. Families may be eligible for CCS and Start Strong.
If you have any more Start Strong questions, just ask our team.
Your child is eligible for Start Strong fee relief if they're a NSW resident and at least 3 years old by 31 July that year. The program is not means-tested and there are no visa or citizenship requirements.
Children need to be enrolled in an early childhood education and care service that's approved for Start Strong funding. They should not have started school.
When you enrol at a Uniting centre, we'll give you a fee relief declaration and consent form to fill out.
You should complete this form for every early learning service your child is enrolled in, nominating whether you would like to receive fee relief for that service or not.
Note: you can only receive fee relief from one service at a time.
Children are entitled to 600 hours of high quality, affordable preschool education in the years before school starts.
If your child is attending community preschool, 600 hours equates to 2 days a week for the school year. Start Strong provides fee relief of up to $4,347 for preschools in 2025, covering the bulk of the fees.
Families using long day care in 2025 are entitled to fee relief of up to $2,174 per year for children aged 4 and above, and $515 per year for 3-year-olds. Most families using long day care also receive the CCS, which doesn't cover preschools.
Children can only receive Start Strong funding from one provider at a time.
If they attend more than one centre, caregivers should nominate on their fee relief declaration and consent forms where they'd like to receive fee relief.

The ACT Government funds up to 300 hours of preschool a year for 3-year-olds through approved partner providers, like Uniting.
If you have any more ACT preschool funding questions, just ask our team.
Your child may be eligible for ACT 3-year-old preschool funding if they live in the ACT and:
Note: The ACT's 4-year-old preschool funding program is delivered through schools, rather than partner providers.
Enrol at one of our centres and tell us that you want to claim fee relief for the 3-year-old preschool funding program.
We'll give you a declaration and consent form to complete, and claim the funding on your behalf. Then we'll pass on your entitlement, by charging you reduced fees.
If eligible for the ACT's 3-year-old preschool funding program, your child is entitled to 300 hours of preschool funding that year.
While all our services offer a daily preschool program for 3 to 5-year-olds, 6 hours per week are funded by the ACT Government (based on the centre operating 50 weeks a year).
We'll pass on this funding to you in the form of fee relief. You'll need to pay any outstanding fees after your preschool funding and any CCS entitlements have been allocated.
You can only access the preschool funding program from one partner provider at a time - even if you use more than one early learning service.
We're here to answer all of your questions and discuss your needs.
