How do you contribute to a child's development?
I contribute to a child’s development by overseeing the educational program and services that supports each individual child’s education, social, emotional, and physical growth. I work closely with the educators, families, and other professionals to ensure our children feel as they belong within their environment and receive appropriate support and resources to thrive. We as a team here at White Dove also play a key role in creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning and development for all children under our care.
What do you love about your centre?
I love that as a team we have worked hard to create a safe home like environment within our centre, to make all families feel like they belong to the White Dove community.
What do you learn from the children?
I learn to see the world through children’s eyes, as children are resilient, empathetic and compassionate. They demonstrate to us daily how the world is full of wonder and endless possibilities.
